 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Office Attendant. This is a nationwide recruitment drive to fill 572 vacancies across various regional offices of the Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Maximum: The candidate should be an undergraduate as of 01/01/2026.

  • Note: Graduates and those with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.

  • Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT for which they are applying.

2. Age Limit (as of 01/01/2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years.

  • Maximum Age: 25 years.

  • Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10-15 years), and Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.

Salary and Benefits

Scheme of Selection

  1. Online Test (120 Marks): A 90-minute objective test covering Reasoning, General English, General Awareness, and Numerical Ability.

  2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates shortlisted from the online test must clear the LPT in the local language of the concerned state. This test is qualifying in nature.
